Good dog!

Just sitting waiting outside the grocery store, no need to be tied up to anything. If only some people were as well behaved!
There have been several instances of outrageous behaviour that make me tempted to go on a rant. A few days ago, protestors gathered outside hospitals in several cities and the BC legislature to rally against the vaccine passports that will require at least one dose of an approved vaccine for entry to:
Indoor ticketed sporting events
Indoor concerts, theatre, dance and symphony events
Licensed restaurants and restaurants that offer table service (indoor and patio dining)
Pubs, bars and lounges (indoor and patio dining)
Nightclubs, casinos and movie theatres
Gyms, exercise facilities/studios, pools and recreation facilities
Businesses offering indoor group exercise
Indoor adult group and team sports for people 22 years old or older
Indoor organized events with 50 or more people. For example: Wedding receptions, organized parties, conferences and workshops
Indoor organized group recreational classes and activities like pottery, art and choir
Post-secondary on-campus student housing
(from an official BC government website)
In Kelowna, a man who was in favour of the passports was accosted by a woman who coughed in his face and spit on him, and he was jostled by several other protestors, only one example of behaviour that has been condemned by many. Yesterday, anti-vaxx protestors threw gravel at Justin Trudeau, who is on the campaign trail for the upcoming election. What country is this? Not the kind of behaviour we expect from fellow Canadians, so outrageous. Of course we have the right to protest but not the right to behave in such deplorable and totally disrespectful ways.  Who are these people??
I'm adding links to an article and letters to the editor from today's Victoria Times Colonist.
Reaction from health care workers
Letters to the editor  Not sure what the point of the last letter is. How secure is the personal information of anyone these days? Not as secure as we might like to think.
It's all infuriating and I just can't get my head around people who refuse to do the right thing to protect themselves and others. I have to keep reminding myself that they are the minority.
