Can you see me?

Slept really well woke up just once I think…. was quite warm, got up and had a shower, dressed in shorts and tee, as it was to be a day in the garden. 

Caught up with daughter and daughter in law this morning, both not been feeling well, some kind of bug…….poor Emily has been poorly too, but they seem to be rallying as the day has gone on.  Spoke to youngest son too, they are both ok…..will b catching up with middle son tomoz as its his birthday. 

Sis came to mine today, with Kobi, a change from me going to hers. 
He was in his element in our big back garden…..exploring all the nooks and crannies,  running around, he even crept into the pond twice, much to sis’s dismay lol…..he literally climbed in quietly, no splashing, we looked around and he was just stood there looking at us. Sis has christened him Monty Don, because he loves the garden, as you can see here & in extras. Both D&E popped round to see Kobi, having heard so much about him. He was very well behaved, even hub would have been impressed ;-) 

It was very hot today,  we sat mostly in the shade, as did Kobi. Plenty of water, we had our prawn salads sat under the arbour. Did a bit of gardening, transplanted one of my rhoddi’s that was getting potbound. Hopefully it will do much better now.  

I had chicken curry & rice for my tea, then got showered and did my hair, before going to collect D&E as we were going back to the pub where we all used to go for the quiz. We met S&T, whom we hadnt seen for 18months, long before we lost hub. It did feel strange, especially as I sat & waited for D&E to come out and get into our car………once the quiz started, a different quiz master, a different type of quiz,  music mostly, we got into it, bit noisy though……we had to come up with a team name….we used to call ourselves Thunderbirds, so we adapted it and came up with “T minus 1” I think hub would have smiled:-)  We were joint runners up……

Back home by 10.30ish, have caught up with first Silent  Witness …enjoyed it, now time for bed.
