St. Ives Bay
Another lovely day. Warm, and sunny. Sue Jay50 and I headed down to Cornwall, to see JennyG. Still fairly busy on the roads, but got to Jenny at 10.45. Perfect timing for a mug of coffee and a biscuit or two.
Then our guide took us to a favourite spot of hers, Godrevy. And I can see why. While the carparks were busy there was plenty of space. Views were clear to the lighthouse island, but a little more hazy looking along Gwithian beach, the Towans on to St.Ives Head. Todays image is just a part of it.
We then returned to Jenny's for a late lunch of cold meats cheeses and biscuits, then lots of chat mainly about photographic equipment. Lovely to see her, and a lovely part of the county.
We left with a promise of returning a bit later in the year to see the area in different weather conditions. We stopped on the road back at Widemouth Bay for an icecream........got to be done ;-)
Safely home after a super day! ;-)
Way behind on rewards and comments will catch up soonest ;-)
