A very late blip as we decided to head for the beach to catch the last of the good weather. The next few days are going to be wet. 
A high tide, but a brief swim was enjoyed.
The sun was rapidly vanishing, but I just managed to catch this paddle boarder.
Extra: Last night our neighbour came round with a sandwich box containing dandelion leaves and a newt, which he guessed had strayed from our pond. We'd no way of knowing, but gratefully accepted it. The pic. was from last evening, just before I put the newt at the edge of the pond.
Today, I washed out the sandwich box and returned it to our neighbour. I told him the newt salad was lovely, though lacked a little horseradish sauce.
