Caribbean Cricket Practice

I've started my homeward journey today and after a very early start I have left Guyana and South America behind, and I've arrived in Barbados for a 1 day stop over. Next to my hotel there is a cricket pitch, and this morning there was a bit of a practice going on. I thought there might have been a proper match this afternoon, but I think that will be tomorrow after I have left, this blip of Caribbean Cricket practice will have to do.

In some respects it's a bit like Scarborough with the cricket ground really close to the seaside, only a lot sunnier and far warmer than I ever remember Scarborough. In fact while I've just been putting the location marker on the map I have just seen that there is a place called Scarborough at the other side of the bay where I am staying. Spooky or what.

I thought a beach blip today might just make people back home jealous today with all of the snow that appears to have been dumped on the UK.
