Small Heath...

Another scorcher of a day - so worthy of another little local wander to see what was about! And to scoff yet more blackberries along the way! They seem in abundant supply off the beaten track this year so might have to take some containers with me next time and bring a few home!!

Saw quite a few small heaths today, and a few common darter dragonflies, along with 4 egrets and tons of swallows!  It's that time of year when you don't know where to look - down for resting wildlife, or up for flying wildlife! Keeping us on our toes as always! Just need more pairs of eyes!!
