Far From The Madding Crowd

Our Thursday jaunt took us from Bury St Edmunds around the perimeter of Ickworth Park, through the village of Horringer to Hardwick Heath and back to Bury St Edmunds, a total of 13.5 miles.
It was a fantastic walk in the company of 2 good friends, this walk is part of our training for a sponsored walk that we are doing for "Help for Heroes".
This will consist of a 26 mile walk on footpaths and fields around the "Shotley Peninsula" in Suffolk and will take place on the 21st May 2009 and will be completed in 1 day.
