Dandelion

I love dandelions. There are several big healthy plants in odd corners of my garden. The flowers are beginning to open. This one was in the shade of a small Pittosporum tree that was blowing about in the gusty nor’wester. The waving leaves made shifting patterns of sunshine and shadow on the face of the flower.

Today my son and I went to Christchurch for our second COVID-19 vaccination. It’s the last day of alert level 3 for us. Tomorrow he returns to work.
