Dave Makes Himself At Home

My Dear Princess and Dear Fellows,

I was in a Teams meeting in the spare room today when Ellie said, "Who's that behind you?"

It was, of course, Dave. Peering in at the window. It was raining outside and so I apologised to Ellie, opened the window, and let him in. He totally wandered through the meeting, disrupted everything, then wandered off to the kitchen to get himself some biscuits. 

When I got out of the meeting, he was lounging all over the living room chair. He rolled over lazily and "breeped" at me with his paws in the air. Then Caro made herself lunch of toast, cottage cheese, avocado and SALMON. 

"Ooooooh! Salmon!" said Dave. "I'm a cat! Cats LIKE salmon!"

He may have made this fact clear to Caro. If you look at today's picture I'm not sure how apparent it is. You'll have to judge for yourselves. 

Other than that, a fairly quiet day in the house. Despite my pronouncement earlier in the week, I shall go into the office tomorrow. Shenée is going in to put up some temporary signage (we should have had the proper room signs, but it has been delayed for the obvious reason). 

I felt bad, her being in on her own like that, so I'll putter in late, have a short day and come home early. That seems like a good way to break myself in to the return to office life.
