Quiet

Woke up to snow. And that special brand of quietness that accompanies snow while it is falling and settling.

And then downloaded the new album from "quietcore" band Low. Looking forward to hearing it later. Their songs are usually quiet and slow but are never insipid.

This afternoon, after logging in to work for a quick check on the new systems (which seem to be holding up well, touch wood touch-screen) it was up to that Nottingham to fetch the boy home for Easter.

A quiet day. And none the worse for that.
