Jada
We braved the cold winds to check out the flower exhibition at the Botanical Gardens today. Impreccable flowers, but challenging lighting and hard work to capture without a tripod which was sitting safe and sound in my house somewhere.
A bit earlier we saw our daughter's class' entries for the primary school daffodil competition, for which she and her class did very well indeed. It's not often I could tell the staff in charge of an exhibition that I am on first-name terms with the artiste of this work of art.
This portrait is also one of the responsible adults in charge. She and her colleague gave us a really tough quiz on how not to waste one's food, so this seems a pretty reasonable request in return. Apologies for the messy background :(
