Not quite the Shard...

Today my mum and I were going to go to London to see my aunt and visit the Shard. We bought the tickets ages ago and were really excited. We got to the train station only to find engineering works had caused the cancellation of trains to London and we had to drive to Guildford where one train an hour was going. We decided to go on to Woking for more choice of trains, when the snow started coming down heavily and settling on the A3. It got a bit slippy and after speaking to my aunt in London, we decided not to go any further. Further south it was better so we went to Chichester and did a bit of shopping! The Shard have given us vouchers for our unused tickets - so next time I visit, we'll go up!
