Sally Mair - Loving life

By Sallymair

I want my mummy!

Popped back into the museum this morning, this time via the Chamber Street entrance. We were greeted by this coffin lid, described as:

Coffin lid in limestone, of Paamunnesutawy, son of Horiru and the Lady of the Estate, Nubty, incised with hieroglyphs and images of funerary gods: Ancient Egyptian, Upper Egypt, mid-Ptolemaic Period, reign of Ptolemy IV or V, c. 221 - 180 BC

Which is very interesting, what made me laugh though was the following :

Previous owner: Paamen, Paamennesuttawy

Home again this afternoon and I did lots of Cursillo admin tasks and phone calls. I met with David and Mike ( a brief Zoom during the tea break of the test match - which they tell me didn't go very well) for our fortnightly reunion group, which was very welcome.
This evening I had a Cursillo Secretariat meeting where we were planning for our AGM and then dropped round some things to another member of the group who is going on the Cursillo this week end. Phew, I'm glad I don't have to work too.
These numbers are flying up the scale. Please keep safe everyone. I continue my twice weekly tests as instructed. Today's negative result is in the extras.
