Seaham

Went to Seaham today. The Tommy statue has won landmark of the year, a competition run by sky arts. Second place was the Kelpies at Grangemouth where my daughter lives.  
We noticed one of the memorial plaques had today's date on it, commemorating someone dying on this day but over 100 years ago.
