Fig tree

After yesterday’s breakfast bowl of fresh figs…
I thought I’d show you the tree
Every winter it is pruned back to almost nothing…..and then it sprouts…..sooooo much!
As well as providing fresh fruit, the tree also provides important shade during the hot summer….
and I place a lot of potted plants under it….
to stop them baking!!
