Monday: Grumpy Face

Very still and misty when we got up around 7am - mist cleared mid-morning and we had a lovely sunny day.
Spent a happy couple of hours potting on geraniums and lavender into terracotta pots - all plants from Lidl and looking very healthy! Must be tough to survive all the neglect …
Transplanted a tray full of eryngium which will stay in the greenhouse - there are giant slugs all over the garden munching everything :-((
Picked, ate and enjoyed the first ripe fig from the greenhouse - something had been nibbling at it but “dim problem”, cut off the nibbled bits and put them on the wall for the wildlife :-))
Had the last of the Tesco blueberry muffins this afternoon with a coffee, outdoors in a very peaceful garden with just the birds and insects and a gentle westerly breeze and very warm sunshine - that made me smile! :-))
Can’t remember where this garden ornament came from - probably the Table Top Sale, it always makes me smile.
