Digging

Today’s digging was hard work in that heat. I spent pretty much the whole day sieving buckets of soil which didn’t contain much of interest, other than a fair amount of flint and fire-cracked flint, which would have been brought to the location as it isn’t naturally occurring there. It’s good to be digging again, though, and there was only one person there I didn’t already know, and the camaraderie is already very good. It needs to be in these conditions!
