Cake Day :)

Went to the farmers' market and came back with this delicious slice of Victoria sponge amongst other things from my friend's Gluten & Dairy Free stall :)

She has been very poorly but luckily it's a family business so cakes are still being baked and sold regularly.

We had some snow. It settled overnight. It melted this morning. It snowed again. It melted at lunchtime. It's snowing again. My four-legged friend is severely unimpressed at the coldness and wetness, I wish I could re-assure her that there will be a Summer, even if we're missing Spring, this year!

Lunch was Wobbly Bottom cheese from the farmers market on toast and Lent tea will be a pork chop with veg :) One more week to go and my beef and lamb cravings are fading at last. Whether that's because I'm missing them less or know it's not too long before I can indulge again guilt-free I have no idea!
