Peppering
Time to pick the ripening chillies and capsicum. The chillies were, I think the ones I grew from seed a friend sent me so I’ll see if I can return the favour.
The capsicum are less productive - but better than in previous years.
At least the chillies might provide something I can taste. For years - long before COVID - my sense of smell and taste has been diminished although on occasion it all comes flooding back. At least at the moment I can’t blame it on COVID as my PCR test has come back negative.
To be safe I am staying around the house as much as possible as we have COVID + ve results at home. So the latest picking of tomatoes were gently fried - see extra - and frozen alongside the stewed plums from the other day. All very colourful and reddish today.
