A Sunny Day on the Prairie

I did a bit of a circuit today, starting with a preserve on the site of the old Naval Air Station, circling round to a nature trail along the Des Plaines River, and ending up at the Grove and Kendicott House.

Sunny and warm after three days of clouds and cold drizzle, I came back a little sore (I'll be glad when the stent is removed) but with a smile on my face, and a surplus of riches in my camera.
