Backblip: Calming down

A fraught day. We had a restaurant booked for the evening at our intended destination but we arrived in town to find a 3 day equestrian even in progress and the campsite booked out.

We found a "nearby" CCP to go to but the route was slow and tortuous and much longer than the crow flight figure provided by the app.

When we arrived we found a lovely lake but it wasn't the peaceful rural idyll that we had expected. It was a resort; Cruise boats, hikers, motorcycles, cars and people everywhere and ... a Triathlon event where the runners were routed through our aire, Poor Dusty!
