Today's the day ....................... to go for a pint

We've just done something that we haven't done for ages - put the oven on the timer and walked down to our local for a drink before the evening meal.  No particular reason why we haven't done it before now (global pandemic aside).  It just seemed to disappear from the usual routine. 

And how nice was it, to be back doing that sort of thing?!  The beer was good too.  And hopefully, this time next week, another remnant from the old way of life will reappear - which will also feature some supping of ale.
