First new shoes

With Kara zooming around all over the place it was time to get her first shoes. We popped to Begg’s (Jen got all her shoes from here as a kid) to get her measured up. They were very good with her and she was very good with them. No fuss with the measuring contraption (that brought back memories!).

They brought out 6 pairs. 3 ‘girl’ styles and 3 ‘boy’ styles. We have had Kara in both kinds of clothes and she just seems to be drawn to colours and animals. In the end the silver leather ones we liked the most for her (close contender were a cool camouflage pair but we reckoned the leather were a better option).

Took her about 3 minutes to get used to wearing shoes then she was off around the shop and even tried to walk out the door in a brazen act of shoplifting!

I’m sure she’ll have as many shoes as me soon enough. She only need a couple more pairs to overtake Jen to be honest!
