All at sea...

Last day at Great Gran's and we decided to explore the local scenery. The sea is a stone's throw from the house and there are plenty of stones to throw on the pebble beach. 

Yes, we all took off our shoes and rolled up out trouser legs like normal people, but eventually choices had to be made. Ivy made the right one and lost all her kit bar her pants. Janet, on the other hand, decided her jeans were stretch denim with a water repelling coating. Here you can see the denim, manfully repelling like anything!

It was delightful to dabble in the sea, and the amazing sunshine made it look more like the Med than the Irish Sea. An excellent end to a most enjoyable weekend.
