Garden Visit

It was a Bank Holiday today - a ‘Federal Holiday’ for my US friends! Or a ‘Red Day’ for my Swedish friends!

One of my dear friends has a ‘big’ birthday this week, so there was a gathering of friends this afternoon to help her celebrate. Not only were the scones and cakes delicious, and the conversations enjoyable, but there were lots of beautiful flowers and cosy seating areas in this lovely garden. Not included in the pictures was a whole section of fruit trees and berries, and a large fish pond with LOTS of entertaining fish!

As is expected in England, the weather was grey and cool for this Bank Holiday, but at least we had no more than just a few drops of rain.
