Lego for giants

We drove to Ranmore Common today. Some of the paths were very deserted. At one point all we could hear was the occasional aeroplane, and a frog. We think it was a frog. No birds sang.

Then we reached a path with giant Lego (Duplo?) blocking the way. Neil thought it was to stop SUVs, but further on there were a number of them at the side of the path, so your guess is as good as mine.

After an hour's walking we'd only gone 1.5 miles, but in our defence some of the paths were very hard going, with nettles to avoid, or flints that risked turning your foot.

At the end we met a couple of women with a greyhound on a lead and we were allowed to pet him. A nice end to the walk.
