Nest-Building

Regular visitors to my balcony are two collared doves.
They are not very shy and get along very well with the also visiting blackbirds. Could be a matter of size - the little birds don't seem to like them very much.

The doves nest-building material is all over the balcony.
I sweep it to the side and they pick it up from there again.
