Weve had no snow

Here for two days, the wind has blown the snow over
our top road and it was blocked last night, but Mr L
went out with Bertha and cleared it.
My journey to Aberdeen yesterday was hairy to say the
least, I came round a bend on a high part of the road
and went straight into a skid the snow had blown over
half the road it had iced over and I couldn't see a bloody
thing, I managed to steer the car out of it, and was shouting
Oh mt god a few times, I said to my grandaughter did you
see that, she said yeh, I quickly glanced at her, and she was
texting with two hands !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! On the journey home
Mr L surprised us both by texting, he never txts to say
he would meet me at my daughters as my car wouldn't get
up the road. I have to say I was glad to get home, to a warm
house he had lit the fire and turned the heating on, and a glass
of wine waiting for me, loverrly was that.
I feel so sorry for the folk who were stuck in cars and the ones
who have no electricity, hope they get it soon. Our local paper
reckons this weather is to last a month !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :-(((
