Experimenting...

....with cooking red cabbage. I decided to cook red cabbage for the first time. I only recently started to enjoy this veg in restaurants and had been put off by the two hour cooking time to do it at home. That changed today. I did a big pot and it was absolutely delicious (thanks mainly to Mary Berry, though I did consult some other recipes and my friend Aideen too). I have enough frozen to have with three more meals, makes the long cooking time seem much more worth while.
