Lovely people (mostly)

We went to the local vegan market. Lovely atmosphere as ever; I bought some bling from this stall, after the guy had finished untangling the knots in his plant holder. His girlfriend makes jewellery and they sell it at various markets; in between times he drives a cupcake van. TSM also got some stuff from them (not for the first time).

We resisted the cakes and fried food as we are both watching the waistline but we had a lovely cup of coffee on a stall run by someone who TSM knows through work. They had their seven month old baby with them so it was a gushy greeting.

There was an antivaxer demo in town and the odious Piers Corbyn was there, gabbling incomprehensibly into a microphone. A lot of noise and not much science. It’s a free country but these people are pissing on the nation’s health and that does not sit well with those of us who work in the NHS.

Anyway a mostly good and mostly chilled day. A warm week in prospect. A sunny September would be a welcome thing.
