Globe Artichoke - year 5 !

I planted this artichoke in 2017 and I think I have probably blipped it sometime in August/ September each year since then.

Again it has grown to about 7 feet tall although this year there is only one flower head - as usual I will just leave it to produce its thistle like flower.

The lovely sunny weather has deserted us these last few days and now we have had  some much needed rain, albeit very gentle, unlike what we have been seeing in some areas of USA.
