Abbey Mills Pumping Station
A guided tour around Thames Water Abbey Mills Pumping Station for Open House London 2021. It was built between 1865 and 1868 as part of Joseph Bazalgette's sewerage system for London and is wonderfully ornate, both inside and out. It is Grade II* listed and still operation though is now electrically powered rather than steam, and is now a 'standby' facility.
