Eggcups don’t bounce

We bought these 10 years ago hand painted by Mme Nady and sold in a village craft market not far from Limoges.
Unfortunately this one took a tumble out of the cupboard the other day.
It looks OK from a distance but close up you can see the joins. Kirsten from the Repair Shop wouldn’t approve.
