On A Mushroom Hunt

I headed up to the woods where there is a good selection of mushroom species.
Or there used to be.
The owners of the wood have set up a 'Woodland Nursery' and removed some of the biggest trees, so between the loss of some leaf canopy and the kids 'using' lots of the areas that were previously left alone there were a distinct lack of numbers and varieties from previous years -- but I did find some.

On the way home I stopped off at one of the ponds where I have seen dragonflies and damselflies in the past.
Nothing today though.
So I took the opportunity to take some ICM (In Camera Movement) shots of the trees ... I do like the unpredictability of blurred shots.

I spent some of the afternoon at the lathe - and SWMBO has spent the whole day in bed.... sleeping .... still not feeling great.
