Another fabulous day spent on the beach at Arisaig, famed for it's 'silver sands' and looking distinctly foreign.
The sun did disappear behind a bank of cloud at 5pm so we drove into Mallaig .
With the departure of the last Jacobite train seemingly the little town closes down. So after a quick turn around the harbour, once again in warm sunshine, watching several grey seals patiently waiting in the clear waters for the returning fishing boats and hopeful of a free supper, we headed back to Arisaig to enjoy a bar b que on the beach.
Although not spectacular, the sun setting over Eigg and Rum was worth staying for.
