Day 18 Level 4 Lockdown

It was a glorious day when we started our walk this morning and a treat was in store.  As we walked along Kohimarama Beach we noticed people gazing out across the water towards Rangitoto Island.  It turned out there were pods of Dolphins swimming past and we could actually see them, albeit from a distance, surfing through the water and making splashes as they jumped. Such a wonderful start to the day.

Today’s blip is of a house on a street called Paritai Drive, which is known for its extravagant and expensive houses.  This one certainly fits the bill.

The numbers are coming down, thank goodness.  There were 20 new community cases of Covid today, the lowest for 13 days.  Sadly, there has been one death from this outbreak, a woman in her 90s who had several underlying health conditions.
