What's in a book?

If like me you sometimes order second hand books online, you may know the joys of finding unexpected bookmarks left inside. This week two book arrived from the States. In one, Mildred Portney Chase's "Just being at the piano", I found this 1999 Music Teachers' Association of California yellowing report on a student named Amanda Kim (are you still playing now Amanda?). In the other, Darwin's "Origins of the Species" were these three delicately dried maple leaves in full Fall colours.
