Magic?

Science.

I could not get the focus right, but I did not have much time today. I lit a candle to make the room smell better while I am working this morning and remembered how much I love matches, the smell, the warmth as the flame gets close to your fingers.

I can not help but think of how people might have held fire as something magical that they could not understand. I still regard electricity as magic even after taking engineering physics. Sure I get that V=IR and P=IV, but I cannot see that, can I? And yet I understand the inner workings of a living cell that I can't see, maybe that is why I am a biologist...
