A break in the cloud

It’s been such a shame that the weather has been so overcast here this week! This morning we went to Whitesands where myself, my son and daughter had a surf lesson. It was fun and we all managed to stand up on our boards a few times! The surf wasn’t great but we made the best of it.

This afternoon my husband and son climbed Carn Llidi and my daughter and Mum and I went to another woollen mill and drove out to Strumble Head to see the lighthouse. We stopped off at Abermawr and sat on the beach for a while. As usual I came back with a selection of stones. And the sun finally broke through the clouds!

We had dinner booked at a pub in Solva which was good. Afterwards we took a stroll out to the headland near our cottage to enjoy the clearer sky.

Looks like the fine weather is coming just as we have to head home! Oh well…
