Bitter Springs Relections

Moving on today. The Silverback insists we go somewhere with a tavern that serves steak and chips. He misses the simple things of life sometimes!

But first a song:

Where the spiders and snakes have got just what it takes, to finish off much bigger prey.’

Much is made of Australia’s scary critters but just between us, our apex predator is probably the motor car. Strangely, unlike sharks and crocs, no one ever suggests culling cars.

Of course after cars, it’s the humans you have to watch out for.

Don’t even get me onto male hormones and their relationship to acts of stupidity leading to injury or death. It’s no coincidence that the people who get bitten by snakes are mostly macho men or inquisitive boys.

Well, dogs and cats do feature in the snake tally a bit, but that’s ‘in the line of duty’. A noble death protecting your family is a gold pass to dog heaven.

Oops I’m rambling! One last thought…..

Of course the scariest thing of all is the vacuum cleaners, they are terrifying!
