We took our grandson out for a visit on his trike to the playground by the beach. It was a warm but fairly cloudy start to the day. He enjoyed his time in the play area, pushing a swing, never sitting in one these days, and climbing over the bridges on a climbing frame contraption. We next headed to one of his favourite sights, a large flag that was swinging gently in the breeze, but first we passed a lorry that had wheels bigger than he is. He is fascinated by wheels and took a second look at these ones. The extra shows him looking at the flag. The light on the sea at this time was quite attractive so formed todays blip. You can just make out two small heads of swimmers in the sea if you look closely. After a stop to look at one playful puppy we headed back home.
My daughter and son in law then headed off to visit the house they are purchasing to see how the build is progressing and I had my grandson all to myself as my husband was out on a bike ride on Dartmoor. He was very well behaved and had a good sleep after lunch. The sun came out and its been very warm so we had a short afternoon visit to the local playground where he again enjoyed watching the other children whizz around after school.
As his parents were delayed by traffic we bathed and put him to bed all of which was great fun and satisfying.
