Tapas Buffet

I didn’t get a chance for any photos today so here is a shot of our meal; a Tapas style buffet.  It’s not easy to do Tapas for two people if you want more than one dish so we’ll be eating up the leftovers for days.

Finally got the confirmation today that our archeological tour of the Aegean coast of Turkey has been cancelled.  We were originally due to go on it in April 2020 and it was postponed until October 2021.  Even if Turkey had been removed from the Red list we really weren’t happy to go and even if we had gone, we foresaw problems with the required PCR tests given we’ve been told we could register false positives for up to six months after having been infected.  We now have to decide whether to get a refund or to do the trip in October 2022; we’d have to pay a bit more but they are still offering a good discount.  I suspect we’ll go as we really wanted to do the trip.
