It didn't look promising for photography today. Overcast.
I made myself go into the park and was richly rewarded.
The robins are back from wherever they've been hiding the last few months. Their song filled the park. 
After about a month of very little in the way of bird sightings I photographed robins, long-tailed tits, chaffinches, chiffchaffs, and  - a spotted flycatcher! Never seen one of those before (see extra). I ID'd it with an app.

I also completed my back-trouble rehab by completing the C25K - 5.3km run done. So I've ordered Thai food and I'm about to settle down and enjoy United v Reading now the women's football is finally being shown on tv. I might even pour myself a small beer.
