High in the tree

I have also backblipped Tuesday's Spotty & Wednesday's Lurking in the Lavender ..... hope you will have a look .... thanks to those who already have :-)


We managed a walk this afternoon (Hubby's day off) ...... didn't see very much as it was overcast & quite windy.

We did see this Great Spotted Woodpecker .... heard it calling first ...... then spotted it high up near the top of the tree ...... not the best quality as it is heavily cropped :-)

We did see a few Small Whites fluttering about .... they are hardy little things!
