I Still Have Faith in You

So this fantastic thing happened yesterday! Mum cried and sang and couldn’t believe it was true. I couldn’t understand at first why four old people getting together to sing a few songs was headline news all over the world. But I HAVE heard of ABBA because mum visited the museum in Stockholm a few years ago. And we sometimes play a song or watch the Mamma Mia movies. 

But apparently, they are now reunited and will release a new album, which is what the hype is about. Mum has been listening to - and singing - the first two songs ALL day. Eek. She says she will buy the new album on vinyl. 

Me: Whaat? 
Mum: It’s like a big flat black disc. I have all their other records on vinyl.
Me: Where are they? 
Mum: In the basement….
Me: Can you find them?
Mum: …..
Me: And how do we play them?
Mum: ……

Anyway. Mum is so happy and nostalgic and excited, so I’ll be super supportive about this whole thing. Go ABBA!
