it's that time of year again

when the dreaded job of cutting back the creeper can no longer be ignored..

Sarah has been co-opted to help, and she and D take it in turns to go up the ladder while I sit indoors and try not to look for fear of seeing one of them fall past the window. Its a long way up :-(

Here they are in times past, and again, and when Joe did it and last year's fun and games.

It's been a chilly day today, unexpectedly. Joanna and I had a nice walk this morning, though, and such a lot to chat about that I forgot to take any photos!
