Feet

I had an amazing message in the night that stopped me from being able to sleep.

No - not a baby!!

Nicky, my Best Friend from school got in touch, 15 years after we stopped speaking (her choice). It was such great news and totally unexpected.

Someone I used to work with was friends with Nicky. I noticed on Facebook. I spoke to Sarah about her friendship with Nicky and told her about us not talking anymore despite me sending her several messages on Messenger. Sarah offered to broach it with Nicky but I didn't hear anything more for a few days - until last night!! She just messaged to say "Nicky will call you tomorrow". 

Wow!!!

Then this morning I had a text Message from Nicky!! It was a lovely message and she took complete ownership of the fact we fell out and offered an apology. I'm not worried about the reasons why we fell out - I'm just so happy we are back in touch. 

We exchanged a few pictures of the kids and we agreed to chat properly after she finished work or at the weekend. I'm actually Buzzing and has really helped take my mind off all the 'pondering' I have been doing!! I can't wait to talk to her. We have SO much to fill each other in on as its been such a long time since we spoke properly.

In other news, DN2 has been given a date of next Wednesday the 8th  to be induced and DN1's fiance Spencer tested +ve for Covid this morning. He's been double jabbed but is diabetic so quite vulnerable. He's feeling pretty poorly but hopefully the jab will stop him from being too too poorly. And so the stress continues for both of them!!!!

For my challenge of 'Feet' today - here is Bella giving me her Paw for a piece of carrot!! (She's on a diet!) She gives such a gentle tap. She has now gone to see Lady Linda with Mr W giving me some much needed me time.
