Poor Dylan

Dougal had a twin brother Dylan who lived with an elderly lady several doors away and he often visited although he was quite timid.
Setting out on my ride I found him stretched out in the gutter at 6:30 this morning, he’d been hit by a vehicle and should imagine died instantly. Putting his lifeless body safely by the wall in the long grass I set off on my ride but couldn’t really find the enthusiasm.
I collected him on my return and informed the owner who wondered why he hadn’t shown up for breakfast. I offered to take care of him and she was most grateful.
Today’s blip is of the grave I dug with some of the stones which slowed down the process.
Other than that more painting and chauffeuring duties were the order of the rather grey day.
