A Day in Town!
Going to town used to be a fairly routine event, but now it is a rare event, alost feeling exciting! Anyway, we were there to eat lunch with friends in a new restaurant. It is slightly more up-market, and cost about 20% more than most places in town for a lunch, but we were all agreed it was well worth it. Between us we sampled all lunch time offers and they were all extremely tasty and well presented.
Lunch over we headed on to other activities, one of which was looking for a blip photo that wasn't our garden or the forest! I found these guys using a high pressure hose to clean the bridge supports. Here, they are moving from one support to another.
When we got home I picked the last of the redcurrants. As I finished it started to rain, exactly at the time predicted by the local forecast.
It's still raining now and we are about to go and watch something on our TV, for the first time in about 3 months. We are slowly moving away from summer mode, and into autumn life.
