Expanding bud

It’s that carrion flower again. Still not open. The bud is bulging but it’s now touch and go whether it will open before I go away. One thing is for sure, it’s going for it’s own holiday in the garden shed! Otherwise today has been a day of tasks and interlude at a friend’s for her mother in law’s funeral wake.
